Welcome to Randoseoul!

This married couple is composed of Romain, a French professional nature photographer who has been living in Seoul since 2008 and hiking with an unquenchable thirst for Korea’s natural marvels, as you might have seen in his Youtube channel. Haemin, is a professional guide, a composer and she produces their weekly podcast. Rando is the casual shortened word for hike in French, so let’s hike Seoul!

We decided to work together to offer unique and personalized experiences in the peace of Seoul mountains. In small groups (4 people max), we want our guided hikes to be moments of sharing first, where we will live Seoul’s nature as it offers itself to us on the day. What’s more, we include valuable cultural / historical info, a professional photos service and a local meal so that all your senses will get stimulated.

If you trust us for a hike, we promise you that you will come down the mountain with a lot of images, a different understanding of Korea and a long-lasting memory.

FAQ

    • There is a limit of 4 spots available per day, so we will fill those spots as we get bookings.

    • 50% of the price is required at the time of booking and the remainder on the .ay of the hike in Wons or earlier by bank ransfer.

    • If new hikers are added to your hike day we will notify you and you will benefit from the discount of the total price.

    • The first person to book a day decides which hike we'll do that day. It is not possible to book another tour for the same day. Some hikes can be done in the morning or afternoon; the time of the hike is discussed at the time of the first booking.

    • The booking form is the first link between us, the rest will be done by email (confirmation, various information, appointment times, etc...). Can’t wait to hear from you!

  • Refund conditions are as follows: 100% refund up to 30 days before the hike, 50% up to 48 hours before (Korean time).

Whatever the weather (unless it's dangerous), we're going up! But to ensure a safe hike, if it's raining hard, snowing hard or windy and you don't feel like going, we will refund you in full if we can't make it another day.

  • We recommend that you have an insurance before you set off, because despite our collective efforts, some boo-boo can always happen. We will ask you to sign a waiver before the climb, as we are unable to provide insurance with our tours at the moment.

  • What you'll need:

    • sneakers or hiking/trekking shoes. The trails are well-maintained, so sneakers are sufficient, but the most important thing is that your feet are comfortable. It's also best to avoid brand-new shoes.

    • dress for the season. We advise you to take a backpack to carry any layers of clothing you may want to remove on the way up or put on at the top.

    • sun cream / cap for summer (it's hot here!), gloves / hat for winter (it's freezing here!).

    • Water / snacks if needed, in addition to the contents of our Bok pocket.

    • Backpack (if you don't have one, tell us, we’ll lend you one)

    • If you need medication, don't forget it - we'll only have an emergency first-aid kit.

Big smiles, wide open eyes and lots of questions to ask us!

  • One of the reasons we only accept small groups (max. 4) is so that we can adapt to your speed. We offer trails for all levels of difficulty, so that, even you don’t think you are the most athletic, you can experience the joys of hiking together.

see you on the trails soon!
