hike details

4-hour hike to 2 minor peaks of Gwanaksan. As this side of the mountain faces the city, it was a strategic location during the Korean War. These troubled times have left their mark on the landscape, which we'll show you on this hike. On the menu: a grandiose view over the whole city, bunkers, 2 flags, a temple and optional "climbing" fun and a short extension to see some rocks, with let's say evocative shapes! Finally, we'll have lunch/dinner at the foot of the mountain, near Sadang station, line 2 & 4, convenient for getting back to your hotel. This is an easy hike, accessible to all.
