hike details

This is a 6+ hour hike through Gwanaksan. The first 30 minutes, follows the bunkers trail and continues on to the summit until reaching the small red temple of the Cliffs of flames trail. On the way up, we'll see lots of evocatively shaped rocks, some of Gwanaksan's finest Korean pines and a view that will stay with us all along. Once at the summit, we will visit Yeonjudae (the little red temple), followed on the way back down by Yeonjuam, a major temple on this mountain (where a ramyeon can be available), and finally, at the very bottom, we'll share a well-deserved invigorating meal. This hike is accessible to all, but because of its length it requires a good fitness level and a certain taste for effort, but the rewards are well worth it!
